What To Bring?

The following list is a guide and may not represent what you choose to bring. Many students find it convenient to bring only personal necessities when checking in, and to purchase additional items after consultation with roommates.

Some suggested items are:

Small TV, Portable Radio, Alarm Clock, Power Strips, Laptop, Desk Lamp, Laundry Supplies.

Storage: No addational storage space is provided. The only storage space available is in your assigned unit. Space is limited.

Clothing: Clothing should be lightweight and suitable for a tropical climate that is warm and humid throughout the year.

Mattress Sizes

You may purchase bed sheets from any retailer, bed sizes are listed for each building below. Pictures of our rooms feature bed linens, comforters and accessories from Bed Bath and Beyond.

In the University Towers, and Parkview Hall, mattresses are 54 x 80 x 6 (Full).

In the Everglades Hall, and Panther Hall, mattresses are 36 x 80 x 6 (Twin Extra Long).

In the University Apartments, Lakeview Hall, and Bay Vista Housing mattresses are 36 x 74 x 6 (Twin).
